Wynter Blessings QP

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Happy Friday Everyone!

I have been having an amazing scrappy mojo this week. For some reason I have been cranking out the pages and I LOVE when that happens- don’t you? Well just in case it hasn’t been that kind of week for you I come bearing gifts- A QP using Raspberry Road’s Wynter Blessings kit.

i love this kit! I originally picked it up to work with the lovely house paper in there, since it reminded me of the row homes in Baltimore/DC, but Ive found that I can use it for lots of other pages. Not just winter ones either!

So for those of you looking for a nice, inexpensive way to scrap some holiday gatherings in non traditional colors, check this out!

I also used one of Susan’s newest embellishment packs- Antiques 4. I took the headboard and altered it to make the gingerbread trim along the journaling block. Don’t keep these packs hidden in those kitchen los. Mess with them, alter em’, ENJOY them!

It’s Game Night at Raspberry Road

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

Susan’s new kit, Game Night, was released last week. It is full of elements that remind me of my grandparents house when I used to play cards with them as a child. I’ll have to find some of those pictures so I can scrap them. The quickpage I made for you is for all those darts enthusiasts. My husband and I used play in a dart league and we loved it. Family and work has since taken over and we are no longer able to play. We do keep a dartboard on the wall at home though! Here is a quickpage for you and can find the complete kit in the shoppe. The picture is linked to the download. I have uploaded this to my account since 4Shared is having problems.

Just The Way You Are ~ featuring Cottage Charm

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

Just wanted to pop in and share another layout using the Cottage Charm collection.  I usually fall in love with the elements in Susan’s kits first and the papers second, but let me tell you, the papers in Cottage Charm won my heart right away.  They are just gorgeous.  I couldn’t decide on what papers to use, so I ended up blending two papers together to create the background paper you see on my layout.  This collection is shabby chic yumminess!

Cottage Charm

Sunday, February 15th, 2009

I know that I have said it many times before but for me there is noone who creates better kits for heritage layouts than Susan. One of the kits released last week was Cottage Charm which I have used for this layout of my Auntie. I have had this photo for a couple of years and was just waiting for the right kit.  My aunt is now in her 80’s and I’ll print out this layout for her. I know she will love it!

This kit and the add on are available in the store and are 50% off this weekend. Be sure to have a look!

I love this layout. I scraplifted a layout at SBB for a challenge , one with only three pics, and I got 16 on here lol. I actually narrowed it down from 65 of this particular section of the day so I was pleased. Yeah i still have 663 pics to go through. This is going to be the biggest wedding book ever HAHAH.
I used Raspberry Roads absolutely wonderful Blissful Fantasy kit, and yet again she astounded me! There are so many elements I have another 6 los in my head, no lie. Everything from gorgeous Victorian ephemera and jewlery , to fantastic hot air balloons, to wedding and spiritual looking papers, it has everything in it. Please do take a second around the store to check it out- theres just so much beauty here!

Friday after next I will be posting a freebie so make sure you stop by. Remember there are freebies almost everyday from Susan and the other girls. Swing on over, do a little downloading and leave some luvin- they work super hard!

Today I’m sharing with you another wedding layout for my brother and new sis-in-law’s photo book.  The newest Raspberry Road Collection, Blissful Fantasy, is a gorgeous wedding collection.  There are so many papers and elements, though, that aren’t specifically for weddings and will make this a versatile kit to add to your collection.
